The People Who Ran This Floor First

The Bell System was built inside a working dealership, not in a room full of software people guessing at one. Every person here has stood on a showroom floor and lost the deal we built this to save.

Moore, Oklahoma. The same people who show you the platform are the ones who answer when you call.

Leadership

Who Built It, and Why

Two decades of automotive retail, a two-time Oklahoma business builder, and the technologist who put it together. The product decisions come from this table.

Jeff Burnett

Founder & Chief Executive Officer

  • Hometown: Moore, Oklahoma
  • 20 years in automotive retail

Jeff came up through the finance office at Ferguson Buick GMC, then spent eleven years as New Car Director at Edmond Hyundai — the #1 store in the region during his time there. He helped stand up Genesis of Edmond from the day it became a new point and ran it as GSM to #1 in a six-state region. Jeff takes pride in training others and watching them grow. Dozens of Jeff’s sales trainees are now sales managers, directors, and running their own stores.

Twenty years watching the same thing happen: stores spend a fortune getting customers through the door, then lose sight of them the moment they arrive. He built The Bell System inside a working dealership before it was ever software.

“Twenty years on a sales floor taught me that the problem is almost never just effort. It’s visibility.”
One thing most stores never do
“Send their best closer in every time.”
Off the clock
Family, and as much time on the water as he can get.
First car
90s Ford Probe GT.

Patrick Meshell

Co-Founder, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

  • Hometown: Marlow, Oklahoma
  • Building Oklahoma businesses since 2003

Pat started Shred-Away Shredding out of a rented van in 2003, driving business to business and building it from nothing. Twenty-three years later it’s a family-owned Oklahoma company handling secure document destruction for commercial and public-sector accounts across the state. He’s spent his career in a business where the whole product is doing what you said you’d do, when you said you’d do it — and he’s found that dealerships want the same thing from their sales floors.

“You are only as good as the people you surround yourself with.”
One thing most stores never do
“Management talking to every customer.”
What he sees in dealerships
“Lack of consistency and efficiency. You have to have both to be the exception.”
Off the clock
Family, golf, and any kind of auto racing.
First car
1970 Ford LTD.

Adam Harper

Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer

  • Hometown: Choctaw, Oklahoma
  • 18 years in technology

Adam is the technologist in the room. Eighteen years across technical support, engineering support, and IT leadership — enterprise storage systems, root-cause analysis, and building CRM and operations infrastructure from scratch as Director of Information Systems for two Oklahoma companies. He came to automotive as a customer rather than an insider, which is exactly why his read on the buying experience is critical.

“The key to having return customers is making them feel like they matter, not that they are just a deal.”
One thing most stores never do
“Value the customer as a person over the car deal itself.”
Off the clock
Building apps and websites is his passion. When he does take a night off — racing go-karts or walking the lake.
First car
A 1994 Chevy Cavalier convertible.

Steve Sichterman

Operations

  • Hometown: Bryant, Arkansas
  • In the automotive business since 2012

Steve started selling Hondas at Fowler in Norman wearing a bowtie, and moved 20+ cars a month doing it. He built the Customer Experience Manager role from scratch at Mercedes-Benz of Plano, managed a 100-person fixed ops department, then went to New Car Sales Director at BMW of Louisville and Bob Moore. From there he crossed to the vendor side — implementation and training at CarNow, then customer success and support leadership at Numa. He’s been the dealership calling the vendor and the vendor answering the call.

“Nobody ever designed a process where the customer sits alone for forty minutes. It just ended up that way in almost every store.”
One thing most stores never do
“Second showings. It reinforces ownership before they’ve signed anything.”
Off the clock
Cub Scouts with his son, Freemasonry, woodworking, and Thunder basketball.
First car
2000 Chevy Camaro with T-tops.

Dealer Performance Consultants

Our Dealer Performance Consultants are more than software reps. They each lived this process on a dealership floor before it was a product.

Nicholas Stock

Dealer Performance Consultant

  • Hometown: Kansas City, Missouri
  • In the automotive business since 2010

Ten years in the Air Force at Tinker before he ever sold a car. Since 2010 Nick has worked every angle — Sales Manager, Corporate GSM at Summit Auto Group, F&I at Joe Cooper and Eddy’s, and a stretch on the lender side as Dealer Liaison for Meritrust Credit Union. He’s a process-and-compliance guy who can also close, which is not a common combination.

“A high number of deals fall apart in the five feet between the test drive vehicle and the showroom door.”
One thing most stores never do
“Managers actually leading — not just managing.”
Off the clock
Four kids, one grandson, large-scale RC cars, and a lawn care business he’s building on the side.
First car
Technically a Jet Ski. He grew up in a Missouri lake town and got everywhere by water.

Kevin Epperson

Dealer Performance Consultant

  • Hometown: Tulsa, Oklahoma
  • In the automotive business since 2019

Kevin started in sales at David Stanley Dodge and moved through F&I and internet sales into Internet Sales Manager, working Chrysler and Genesis. He built his name on the first pencil — get to a real number fast, close the deal. His customers had a habit of bringing him gifts after delivery, which tells you most of what you need to know. He ran this process on a live floor at Genesis of Edmond before it was ever software.

“I never once lost a deal because I asked for help too early.”
One thing most stores never do
“Get you actual help when you need it.”
Off the clock
Fishing, hunting, and family.
Something people don’t know
He knows sign language.
First car
2005 Chevy Malibu.

Ethan Hamberlin

Dealer Performance Consultant

  • Hometown: Thomas, Oklahoma
  • In the automotive business since 2022

Ethan walked into Edmond Hyundai at nineteen and worked parts, service, and fixed operations before moving into finance in 2024 and then sales at Genesis of Edmond. He knows the whole store, not just his corner of it. His customer reviews say the same thing over and over — easy to work with, no pressure. He’s studying Professional Sales and Marketing at UCO, and he ran this process on a live floor before it was ever software.

“People don’t hate buying cars — they hate having a bad experience buying one, and we have the opportunity to change that.”
One thing most stores never do
“Keep everyone on the same page with a clear, followable sales process — and actually hold people to it.”
Off the clock
Family, friends, the gym, and the OKC Thunder.
First car
An old Nissan Altima.
